The bill enters into force on the date of publication. The bill provides for the right of the consumer to receive a free replacement product offered within the expiry date of the product alongside other measures. Failure to comply with this law subjects the violators of the penal and administrative sanctions laid out in Brazil Consumer Protection Law No. 8,078/ 1990.
