The Chilean Ministry of Energy has launched a public consultation on proposed technical specifications for the design of **energy efficiency labels** for the following products:

- televisions in active and standby mode;
- drum-type clothes dryers (excluding dryers that use gas or other fuels for heating, dryers for commercial laundries, and drum-type washing machines with built-in dryers); and
- dishwashers
