The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently published the draft "Energy Efficiency Star Certified Products List 2016", containing eighty six models of products across thirteen different categories to be included in its Energy Efficiency Star Program. Some of the products covered under this list include:
- Clothes washers
- Water heaters
- LCD TVs
- Room air conditioning equipment
- Household refrigerators/freezers
- Transformers
- Electric motors
- Industrial equipment
- Welding equipment
- Boilers
- Air compressors
- Plastic injection machinery
- Fans
- Pumps
Comments from the public are invited and should be submitted via the Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) website by October 14, 2016.
