China Publishes WEEE Catalogue 2014

China recently published its Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Catalogue 2014.

This catalogue expands the list of WEEE that must comply with Chinese WEEE regulations to include 14 products. The new catalogue will enter into force on 1 March 2016.

The products covered are the following:

1. refrigerators
2. room air conditioners
3. kitchen ventilators
4. washing machines
5. electric water heaters
6. gas water heaters
7. printers
8. copiers
9. fax machines
10. televisions
11. monitors
12. micro computers
13. mobile communication devices
14. telephones
