Compliance & Risks auditing service assesses current levels of data protection compliance and offers practical solutions to close any gaps. In recognition of the different needs of companies, audits are provided at different levels.  A basic audit will assess and report on documented policies and procedures, identifying and remedying any issues. A comprehensive audit includes a review of documentation, extensive questionnaires, interviews and checklists, as well as reports on how the data protection system operates in practice, with solutions for any gaps that arise. Data Protection audits are a vital tool in helping to measure and improve compliance across the whole organization. They also help increase awareness among staff; reassure customers as to the protection of their data; ensure the effective handling of subject access requests and/or complaints; ensure suitable breach management procedures are in place; and can confirm that an organization is prepared for any formal review by the data protection commissioner.
