The aim is to seek comments and ideas on how to improve the act and meet the policy objectives described below. DEFRA want to hear from the public, local authorities and businesses affected by the Clean Air Act such as boiler manufacturers, developers and the food industry. The review has three aims: - Reduce burdens on business and local authorities - Make environmental rules and regulations more user friendly - Maintain the quality of environmental regulations The deadline for comments is 29 October 2013.
