The Order enters into force on 2 January 2013 and repeals Order 284/2011 on Restrictions on Import, Sale and Production for Export of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Containing Hazardous Substances. However, for devices imported or sold in the EU for the first time before 2 January 2013, the provisions of Executive Order No. 284 still apply.
