This order mandates that both producers and importers of household, and other similar electrical appliances, need to conform with specific standards put in place by the Egyptian Decree.
The standards set out in this Decree correlate to a vast range of electrical goods.
A transitional period of twelve months will be given to producers and importers in order to comply with items 3, 4 & 5 of the Decree. All remaining provisions will be granted a transitional period of six months.
