The effective date of this rule is February 13, 2015 and companies must comply to the amended standards for all CCWs manufactured in, or imported into, the US on or after January 1, 2018. The amendments include a minimum modified energy factor (MEFJ2)3 and a maximum integrated water factor (IWF) for both top-loading and front-loading CCWs.
