Indonesia has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) of a Draft Decree of Minister of Industry on Mandatory Implementation of Indonesia National Standard for Air Conditioner, Refrigerator, and Washing Machine.
This draft decree states that all Air Conditioner, Refrigerator, and Washing Machines produced within the country or imported, distributed and marketed in the country shall fulfill the SNI requirements. The producers which produced these products therefore shall comply with the requirements of SNI proven by having Product Certificate for Using SNI Mark and put SNI mark on every product.
