He succeeds Damien McGovern, who is also founder of the company and is stepping down as Chairman after 13 successful years in the role. “I’m delighted to welcome such an experienced professional as Jim Costello to the Board,” said Joe Skulski, CEO of Compliance & Risks.  “We are at a pivotal point in our growth and Jim’s experience at growing companies will be of huge benefit to our organization. I would also like to thank Damien McGovern for his significant contribution to the success of the company as Chairman of the Board and also as CEO between 2002 and 2012". Jim is also non-executive Chairman at SouthWestern, having stepped down earlier this year as CEO.  There he was the driving force behind the growth and sale of the business in a deal worth €35m to UK based outsourcing group, Capita in 2014. Before his 12 years in SouthWestern, Jim was Finance Director for Unisys Corporation in Europe, General Manager of Managed Services in France and Global Managing Director of the Unisys/Dell Managed Services Alliance, a $120m managed services business. “Compliance & Risks has built an incredible client base supplying compliance services to the electronics sector and associated industries.  As the growth of regulations continues to cause pain for organizations, the company is ideally positioned to expand its offerings to support their clients”, commented Jim Costello. “ I look forward to joining such a passionate and professional team and contributing to its future growth.” Commenting on the appointment Damien McGovern said: “It has been a privilege to be Chairman of the Board for Compliance & Risks and to bring it to this stage of evolution.
