The CPSC is proposing to modernize the rule to account for improvements in information technology, streamline its obligations, and maintain compliance with the statutory requirements and the protections of section 6(b)(5) for information filed in accordance with the requirements of section 15(b) of the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA). Comments are invited from interested parties by April 28, 2014. ‘Section 6(b) of the CPSA governs information disclosure by the Commission to the public.
