Sweden Publish Long-term Energy Policy

The Swedish Government and a number of Swedish political parties recently agreed on a deal on the country's long-term energy policy. 

The agreement provides a common roadmap for a controlled transition to a fully renewable electricity system, with the goal of 100 percent renewable electricity by 2040. 

The Government and the parties agree that Sweden should have a robust electrical system with high reliability, low environmental impact and electricity at competitive prices.
