It aims to ensure the safety of construction products and to facilitate the free movement of goods. A referendum is needed to finalise its adoption and the Federal Council shall determine the date of entry into force. The existing Federal Act of 8 October 1999 shall then be repealed.  Deadline for comments is the 21st of December 2012.
