Taiwan Amends Mandatory Commodity Inspection of Toys

The Taiwan Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection (BSMI) issued an amendment on the Mandatory Commodity Inspection of Toys to take effect today. The Amendment adopted a revised version of Standard CNS 4797 which was published on January 13, 2015 as the inspection standard for toys.

The old version shall not be used from the date this amendment enters into force. The main modification is the change in the limitation of formamide from 2 ppm to 200 ppm.
