Commitments made via the [Red Tape Challenge](http://www.redtapechallenge.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/home/index/http://) to reduce producer compliance costs have been met under these new WEEE regulations, as well as transposing the requirements of the recast WEEE directive, including new collection targets imposed on member states.
