The results have shown some inconsistencies when compared with the data reported in the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) “Appliance Efficiency Database". To establish the reasons for these discrepancies, DOE is looking for feedback from manufacturers on whether there are potential ambiguities in the Federal test procedure with respect to how certain battery chargers are tested when determining the energy usage ratings of these products. DOE will hold a public meeting on June 3, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Washington, DC.
