The draft specifies provisions on the recovery, transportation of waste products, treatment of waste products, provision of information, and reporting. It applies to producers and importers, distributors, consumers, and organizations and individuals involved in the take-back and disposal of waste products in Vietnam. It covers the 6 product categories of waste products including batteries and accumulators, electrical and electronic equipment (computers, fluorescent lamps, printers etc.), chemicals used in industry, agriculture, fishery and medicine for human use, lubricants/ oils, tyres/ inner tubes, and means of transport (motorcycles and automobiles).
