Compliance & Risks Offers EIIS Investment Opportunity

Compliance and Risks today officially launched its €2m Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) fundraising campaign.  This scheme provides a tax incentive to private Irish investors to invest medium-term equity capital in the company. Investors benefit from substantial tax savings, as well as knowing their investment will be returned in full after 3 years.  The scheme will close on 28^th December.

“We’re working with a number of accountancy practices who are offering our EIIS to their clients, as well as dealing directly with individuals.  The feedback so far has been excellent, not just because of the great tax savings, but also the fact that after 3 years they get their investment back, ” commented Pat Lynch, finance director, Compliance and Risks.

“This new funding will help us to recruit more expertise into our legal, sales and marketing teams and to strategically grow the business and enhance valuation.”

The money will be used to:

1. Increase the company’s sales and marketing resources and continue expansion in new and existing sectors. 
2. Add further resources to the Legal Data Team to greatly expand the number of regulatory sources (documents in the company’s structured format) in the knowledge management platform, C2P.
3. Fund ongoing software evolution. This continues to improve the power and usability of C2P.
4. Expand offerings into consulting and custom development of C2P software and content.
