The goal of the seminar was for CPSC to collect information from stakeholders. Seminar attendees discussed CPSC's recent activities on furniture flammability, as well as fire and flammability statistics; fire barrier materials; and fire barrier test methods. Attendees included representatives from the American Home Furnishings Alliance, National Fire Protection Research Foundation, The University of California Berkeley and Green Science Policy Institute, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
