On 4 March 2013 the Norway published draft regulations on toy safety for Consultation.
The proposed regulations, implementing Directive 2009/48/EC on the Safety of Toys, repeal Regulation No. 7 of 1996 on Toy Safety and shall enter into force immediately. The cadmium limits have not been updated in line with Directive 2012/7/EU.
The deadline for submission of comments is 29 April 2013.
