The Australian Senate has voted today to repeal the carbon tax by 39 to 32 votes.
The carbon tax repeal bills, which were introduced by the Australian Government on November 13, 2013 with the aim of abolishing the carbon tax from July 1, 2014, were rejected by the Australian Senate on March 20, 2014 but were subsequently reintroduced on June 23, 2014.
