California's Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) will announce its first draft Priority Products under the Safer Consumer Products Regulations on 13 March 2014 at 10 AM PDT.
The draft Priority Products are consumer goods sold in California that each contain at least one chemical from a list of more than 1,100 that could potentially harm public health or the environment. DTSC is asking manufacturers to figure out if there's a safer way to make these products.
