CDM To Allow Voluntary Cancellation of Certified Emission Reductions (CERs)

The Executive Board of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) has just announced today that project participants and others engaged in the CDM will soon be able to voluntarily cancel their CERs into an account in the CDM registry at the UNFCCC secretariat in Bonn, Germany.
