The Chilean Ministry of Energy has launched a public consultation on proposed technical specifications for the design of energy efficiency labels for the following products:
- televisions in active and standby mode;
- drum-type clothes dryers (excluding dryers that use gas or other fuels for heating, dryers for commercial laundries, and drum-type washing machines with built-in dryers); and
- dishwashers
The public consultation ends on August 3, 2015. More information for stakeholders can be found on the Ministry of Energy's website http://www.minenergia.cl/ under "Consultas Ciudadanas".
