Costa Rica publishes drafts on General Regulations for the declaration of Special Waste Management and amendment to the Regulations for Electronic Waste Management.

On December 21 2012, Costa Rica made available the final drafts of the 1) E-waste decree amendment and 2) Special wastes declaration for consultation.

The consultation period started on January 7 2013 and runs until January 17 2013.
