Compliance & Risks today announced that Efeca, the UK based natural resource management company, has joined their knowledge partner network. The company advises and consults on the legal and sustainable sourcing of commodities, and provides policy and management support in relation to the sustainable trade of natural resources, to the public, private and NGO (non-governmental organization) sectors.
Efeca was part of the consortium that supported the EU Commission on reviewing the implementation of the European Timber Regulation (EUTR). This piece of legislation has proven to be of great interest to Compliance & Risks’ clients as it affects both supplies of direct materials and packaging products.
Commenting on the partnership, Joe Skulski, CEO of Compliance & Risks said, “Our clients know the importance of sustainable sourcing and want to ensure our natural resources are managed effectively to secure a better future for us all. Efeca’s experience in helping companies implement greener, more sustainable strategies will be of interest to our clients and their regulatory updates and insights hugely beneficial.”
Susanna Lohri, Consultant with Efeca also commented, “Efeca is delighted about partnering with Compliance & Risks, a market leader in compliance knowledge management who offers a key tool in an ever changing proliferation of legislation and policies. Efeca’s strength has always been rigorous analysis and translation of policies and legal requirements for corporates and the public sector to improve the management of natural resources. As such, we believe the cooperation with Compliance & Risks will be a perfect match.
