On 29 December 2012 Hungary published Decree No 443 on Waste management activities concerning electrical and electronic equipment. This Decree implements the following EU Directives:
EU WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC, EU WEEE Directive 2003/108/EC (on Article 9 financing of WEEE from users other than private households), EU Batteries Directive 2006/66/EC, & EU Waste Directive, 2008/98/EC.
It also implements the Hungarian Waste Act CLXXXV, 2012. Military Equipment is not in scope. This Decree is in force since 01 January 2013.
