The Minnesota House of Representatives passed House File 458 as amended and passed by the senate. The bill passed both houses by a significant margin and was presented to the governor on May 9. If signed into law, the bill would prohibit manufacturers from selling children's products containing formaldehyde after August 1, 2014, and prohibit retailers from selling children's products containing formaldehyde after August 1, 2015.
