New York State Reintroduces Bills on Television Energy Efficiency Standards

The New York legislature has recently reintroduced bills to establish television energy efficiency standards. Assembly Bill 2182 and Senate Bill 804 would require televisions to use no more than P ≤ 0.20 x A + 32 (P in watts) in on mode by 2014 and P ≤ 0.12 x A + 25 in on mode by 2016.
