Peru recently approved additional measures to the country's regulation for the management and handling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
The new provisions clarify requirements and conditions for the submission of WEEE management plans and set out minimum WEEE management targets to be achieved for the next five years.
The resolution further imposes an annual declaration obligation on producers of EEE and WEEE operators.
