ISO (International Organization for Standardization) has published a draft of the revised standard ISO 14001 on environmental management systems and public comments are invited until November 2014. The draft can also be purchased from the ISO website, giving companies the chance to preview changes, and also the opportunity to prepare for when the final standard is published.
Comments should be submitted through national standards bodies. The next meeting to review comments and revise the draft will be in February 2015, with planned final publication of the revised standard in the third quarter of 2015.
