The United States (US) Senate's Environment and Public Works Committee will host a hearing today, 31 July 2013, at 930 AM EDT, to consider possible reforms to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
The hearing, "Strengthening Public Health Protections by Addressing Toxic Chemical Threats," will include testimony from a number of stakeholders, including the Office of the Attorney General, California, Washington State Department of Ecology, the Toy Industry Association, Inc. (TIA), the Center for Environmental Health (CEH), Alston + Bird, LLP, and the Environmental Working Group (EWG).
