Switzerland publishes ordinances on Harmonised Standards for low voltage equipments and for equipment and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres

On the 25th of September the Swiss Federal Office of Energy published two Ordinances, the first one on electrical low voltage containing technical standards for low voltage equipment pursuant to art. 5 para. 1 and 4 of the Ordinance of 9 April 1997 on electrical low voltage equipment.

The second Ordinance was published pursuant to art. 6, para. 1 and 4, of the order of 2 March 1998 on the devices and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. For more information on this and similar please contact us.
