Vermont legislature passed Senate Bill 81 with unanimous support. Assuming it is signed into law, the bill will ban the manufacture or distribution of children’s product or residential upholstered furniture that contains Tris as of July 1, 2013 and ban the retail sale of such products as of July 1, 2014.
